Now Reading: The New Control Panel | Jump To Comments
Ever since we got the new service, I have always wanted to do a new control panel for Keith. He didn't want to overhaul it like I did so I just waited. Finally I decided that maybe it would be best to just make it look more like the main page, so after spending several hours today editing the CSS and running browser tests I am glad to say that the new control panel is done.
The new control panel follows the color scheme of the main page and has a more modern feel to it, and to me it makes it feel a little bit like the old EFx2. Everything is in the same spot as the old control panel too, so it isn't a big shock and everything isn't moved around. Really the only thing different is new colors, and bigger fonts since I have trouble reading smaller ones.
Now, before this is made a permanent fix, Chica wanted to do a poll and see who prefers the old control panel to the new control panel. Since we can't do regular polls we will have to do an entry poll using comments.
Here is how the poll is going to work. Below are two screenshots of which you can look at. You have before and after. All you need to do is comment with either "old control panel" or "new control panel."
Before: Old Control Panel
After: New Control Panel
For now, the new control panel will remain live so everyone can get a feel for it and look around before making their decision.
Voting will be over on Thursday, December 20, 2007.
